student fleeing after three months

I let a room out to a student in a shared house.
After two months it clear now well into the third month the tenant is using his deposit as this month and has admitted he is leaving.
As the tenant is from overseas details of next of kin dont have much help,
Is there anything I can do to prevent the tenant just leaving?
