Tenant owes £2350 at £115 pw -How to evict painlessly

This tenant has always been a late payer. Gradually over the last few years the debt has continued to mount up until he is now owing us £2350.

He has 2 small children and my husband kept feeling sorry for him. However we can't substitute this any longer.

Deposit is held with My Deposits.

As we have had a problem evicting a tenant once before for lack of paying - we are frightened of getting the procedure wrong.

What is the correct, cost effect, quickest and most pain free way of getting our house back from the tenant please?
