new tenant section 21

I have just had a new tenant move in. Tenancy started 24th May and ends 23rd November. AST signed 22nd May.
So far so good (I hope).
But I I also got him to sign a section 21 at the same time - on Saturday 22nd May, then realised my error, as he wasn't a tenant until 24th May, so got him to sign another obe.
The I checked it and I have put that it expires after 24th Novemeber, the day after his six month AST runs out.
Would a judge accept this, or do I have to get him to sign another one with an expiry date of 23rd November - I just don't want him to think I'm completely batty!
