hi have lha tenant who has sent a cheque to pay for some of his arrears ,but cheque is not from tenants bank account but from person unknown to me , have e mailed tenant asking him to verify who this person is and if they are now paying his arrears for him ,as to date i have not had a reply from him. should i accept cheque , what should i do about this ?
