I want to chase up one of my previous tenants who still owes me a lot of money.

The tenant paid me one months money then never paid again. I served section 8 and 21a (got the ntoices the wrong way round thanks to the local council!). I then went to courts and got the order served and then went to bailiffs to execute the order. The money got put on the order, but this has never been pursued due to costs to chase it up and priorities of getting the house back up on the market.

Now I want to chase her up. The prinicple of the matter more than anything else. Im wanting to know whats the best way to do this. I understand i maybe throwing good money after bad (or whatever it is) I want money out of these persistent troublesome tenants who think its ok to do this to people who work hard to give tenants good properties.

Let me know if anyone has done this and what they got out of it or if the helpdesk can guide me that will be great.

Thanks
