We currently own a number of buy-to-let properties, four in Gloucesteshire and six in Staffordshire. All of them are fully managed for us by local agents. With everything that has gone on and is going on at the moment, we were thinking of potentially starting to manage the properties ourselves. The intention would be to take the management over over a period of time, probably 12 months to ease ourselves into it gradually. We wondered if anyone had been through a similar exercise and what advice they would give and/or what experience did you have and if there was an optimum way to do this from a tax perspective. Many thanks.
