Taking over the property management from my agent - transfering the deposit
Tenancy Deposits

Hi, I’m taking over the property management from my agent and need to transfer the deposit to a scheme under my name. The agent currently holds it under TDS, and I want to transfer it to TDS Custodial. I have a few questions: - The tenants have one month left under the existing AST, and then they move to a periodic tenancy as agreed. How do I protect a deposit in that situation? I don't see an option in TDS for selecting a periodic tenancy. It asks for the expected tenancy end date. Should I assume another 12 months? - To ask the agent to transfer the deposit, I need to provide the reference number (which I have) and the TDS Custodial bank details. I can't find these details anywhere. Any ideas on what I'm missing? - Lastly, my agent is ignoring my emails since I handed them the notice. What are my options to prevent the agent from stalling, delaying, or not transferring the deposit? Thank you for your help! L
