Tenancy agrement and s21- clarification

Six months tenancy now periodic tenancy.

A. Contains a clause "1.4 This agreement is intended to create a Contractual Tenancy outside the Housing Act 1988" What does this mean? (implications?)

B.The rent due 19th of each month (tenancy also commenced on the 19th)As I understand it the S21 should be dated to end on the 18th (allowing at least 2 clear months)?

C.Assuming B to be correct, if s21 dated to end on the 20th: -"Requiring possession... After 20th...or after the date being the earliest date not earlier that two months after the service of this Notice when shall expire a period of the assured shorthold tenancy" If this is invalid, where do we stand/what is the remedy

D.Specifically stated in the tenancy agreement that x deposit was collected but no proof of this furnished to the landlords and (surprisingly!)the agent has now disappeared. The court will require evidence of deposit being duly protected. What can we do to discharge this requirement given the facts?
