Expiry of Section 21 Notice
Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

I have a tenant who tenancy started on 20th October'07. She was given a Section 21 at that time requiring possession on 20th April '08. I didn't enforce the notice in April as all was well but since then she has become troublesome with regard to rent arrears and nuisance behaviour. Can I rely on the original Notice 21 or am I better off issueing a new one. Also should the notice be dated 19th or 20th of the month I require possession
