Tenant Has Abandoned Property Whilst Section 21 In Process - Procedure

We recently served a section 21 notice on a tenant who has since abandoned the property. We need to inform the court we no longer require a hearing/continue with the S21. Is there a procedure to follow other than telling them we wish to drop the repossession order?
