Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

We are a letting agent and we are in the process of evicting a tenant for rent arrears.
We have served section 8 and 21 notices on behalf of the landlord and we are now preparing the application to the court.
Can we prepare and sign the court papers in behalf of the landlord or does the landlord need to sign them?
