Notice required?
Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Hi,

I issued a Section 21 which expired about a month ago on December 19. The tenant has not yet vacated the property. I met with them yesterday and they will tell me on Monday if they will leave.

Question: how do I calculate how much rent they owe me? If they tell me on Monday that they will vacate the property is this effectively giving me a months' notice as per the standard RLA tenancy agreement? Or does the S21 expiry date invalidate the requirement for them to give me notice?
