As we do not give an actual date of expiry on the S21 i.e we describe in words using the following:

at the end of the period of your tenancy which will end after the expiry of two months from the service upon you of this notice.

one S21 would surfice, though in our cover letter we should perhaps advise that the date of expiry is the later of the two 'possible' dates???
