Validity of notice once served
Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Dear Helpdesk

I served a section 21 after the tenant moved in. Tenant had a first 6 months fixed term and is on a periodic since then. Tenancy started in March 2009. A Section 21 was served on the tenant just after the move in date.

I need to gain possession of the property. Is the original Section 21 still valid or is there an expiry date for a section 21 that has been served.
