Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

I note from the latest S21 forms on your website that the the y now require possession 'ON' a specific date. They used to say 'AFTER' and that is the advice you have always given. Is the current form correct and still valid and does it still have an infinite life or does the specific date now overide this? Thanks,
