I have a tenant who has had police to his premises on 4 separate occasions throughout his tenancy. (8 months to date) One one occasion they had to break in and on other occasions they have almost had to break in - but after some time other tenants or he has granted access.

Several police vehicles and officers have attended on each occasion and the tenant has been forcibly removed from the property into custody or hospital on several occasions.

I only have much of this information from the upstairs tenant.

I do not know if the tenant has been charged with anything or convicted, although I was informed by the police at the time they broke into the flat that is was related to breaking an ASBO.

How much specific detail do I need for this ground? What could I expect to find out from the police, especially in relation to being convicted of an arrestable offence and how can I go about getting this information? I do have some links with his probation office but they will not share information readily.

Would appreciate your advice. I intend to serve a s21 notice as back up to the s8. My tenant has mental health problems.
