Section 8 and no deposit
Possession - Section 8 and Section 21

Hi

I attended a section 8 court hearing and found out I did not have a deposit scheme in place (New landlord and I was not aware), tennant argued that Section 8 is not Valid - I argued that only Section 21 can not be issued, there is no mention of Section 8 been invalid in Housing Act or opther legislation that I can source. Court ajourned as judge was unsure on ruling - any legislation or previous ruling which states that S8 can still be used? I am back in court in 2 weeks.
And before you ask, yes I have since joined the RLA Deposit sscheme!
