tax rise for landlords??

They have discussed merging NI with income tax on 'Today' this morning but there is a trap for landlords. This could increase our basic tax rate from 20 to 32 percent.Pensions were mentioned as needing exemption from any possible rise but not investment income such as rental income. As most of us see rental income as a pension substitute I hope the RLA will lobby about any tax rise.
