I have jsu purchased my first two apartments and am preparing to let for the first time.

I understand about tax relief on Agents fees and repairs.

The apartments were not fitted with basic fixtures such as toilet roll holders, towel rails, bathroom mirrors, fridefreezers or window dressings.(blinds in my case)Are any of these items allowable under 'first fit out' or can they only be tax deductable expenses when they need replacing in future?

I suspect not from what I have read but I need confirmation.

Kind regards,

Kim Andrews
