60k borrowed on main residence, (capital &repayment), this was raised 3yrs ago for deposit on another BLT. I claim the interest part of this 60k against rental income. I now want to pay this 60k off our main residence by borrowing against another fully owned BTL (unmortgaged, value 100k) on an interest only mortgage. Am I correct in thinking that the interest on the 'new' 60k can still be offset against rental income.
