I have a group of tenants on a shared contract where 3 have signed adn the other 3 are abroad. WHilst I realise that the 3 who have signed cover the whole rental so I am not at risk, as a responsible landlord I want to reduce the exposure of the 3 who have signed by getting the tenants who are away contractually bound too.

My question is..

Is an e-mail from the tenants who are abroad legally binding if they agree to teh tenancy?

Likewise is a faxed tenancy agreement with their signature legally binding?

I need to know a.s.a.p as these tenants wish to sign before the UNIPOL system goes live on Saturday.

Thanks
