Hello all
I am completely new at this letting game but eager to learn. I have tenants in a property who have been there for several years (had no tenancy agreeemnts till last November) and are absolutely lovely, pay rent etc. on time and cause no hassle. However, one tenant in another property has been giving me a headache - thankfully he has now gone, and I am now very aware that I should issue Section 21 notices. My existing 6 months Shorthold ends on the 11th of March 2007, normally I would let this run as a periodic but I am increasing the rent so etherefore have to issue new ones. What date do I put on the Section 21 and which form do I use? I understand that I have to give two months notice even with a section 21 and that is OK but am completely stumped about the issuing date "just in case" I had to wait almost 4 months to get the bad tenant out. Any help greatly appreciated,
Thanks
