I have a portfolio of 15, I intend to emmigrate and declare myself non resident. (after 5 years CGT exempt) However, decision time, should I sell portfolio as a whole, if so would I lose a tremendous amount on the value? or....do I keep them and have someone manage them for me (this could get complicated with finances etc. I certainly do not want to use a letting company as on top of 10-15% fee they are obligated to tip up 22% to the taxman as I will be non resident, also I dont feel their interest will be as entheusiastic as mine. Anyone else in the same boat or already done this?
