just about to let a 2-bed flat to 2 individual tenants, who know each other and work together. Both have paid a deposit and have signed a pre-tenancy agreement which splits in half the security deposit and rent and have agreed a 6 month let.

I was thinking of issuing one AST, to be signed by both, -is that ok ?
Are there any formal words that I should add to the AST concerning what happens to the agreement should either tenant want to quit earlier or there is a need to terminate for another reason?

How do I show the rent on the joint AST if they are paying individually?

Do I lump the 2 security deposits together and register them with the DPS scheme as one?

Sorry , so many questions...And finally,
Any other things I should be considering?

Thanks
