Hi
I issued a 6 month AST back in May and also issued a section 21 at the same time. The AST ends on November 14th and the tenant is happy to stay on in the property. I understand that the tenancy automatically becomes a Periodic Tenancy but should I issue a letter or something to the tenant to say that this is the case? Will I have to still give 2 months notice if i want him out and will he still have to give one months notice of leaving?
