The checkbox on the RLA agreement provides for an OPTION to take two months up front. It is not a requirement and can be either ignored or deleted.

As per TDS rules, you issue a new AST, you protect the deposit. If you wish to avoid this, the change of name should be an Addendum.

As makes for good rulesregarding advice, this is only guideline information I'm giving and does not imply responsibility, blah di blah di blah... hey, I'm just a fellow landlord.
