Hi, I have a tenant who is leaving a joint tenancy of three tenants. This tenancy has been operating for over ten years.
Two of the tenants are wish to stay under a new agreement when the third tenant has left. My problem is that the leaver has suddenly announced that they will not pay rent this month and are saying that I can keep the deposit.
What are my rights and what should I do?
