Advice required Please

Tenancy Deposits

I have just received a second recorded letter from an ex tenant who states she has sought advise from, Deposit protection Services, The Deposit service Ltd and My deposits and correctly states that I did not deposit her deposit into any scheme.
Howwever, I will give details of this messy tennacny and you will see, I have not had 14 days in which to lodge it.

SATURDAY 09 AUGUST, Person gives £425 rent and £425 deposit. Signs a RLS AST. I cancel further viewings

SUNDAY 10 AUGUST person rings to say she cannot move in due to personal circumstances, advised will sort monies out upon my return form holiday which starts on this day.

MONDAY 18 AUGUST resubmit advert to local paper.
WEDNESDAY 20 AUGUST person rings to say she can now move in!! Cancel viewings and state tenancy was drafted to start MONDAY 18 AUGUST so will use this still.
THURSDAY 28 AUGUST person advises personal circumstances again she has to move out. Ring around to see if canceled viewings still interested.
SUNDAY 31 meet tenant and tell her not entitled to any monied back.

As you see I didn't have suffient time to submit deposit. You have previously advised that she has no case, so could you advise me on what action i should now take please?
