I used the above agreement for one of my tenants in august 2008. there was a clause in the agreement that stated: "tick the box to show that you agree to us collecting two rent payments in advance at the start of the tenancy. One is for the first rent period and the other is a pre-payment for the next rent period." The box was ticked by the tnt.
Does the pre-payment for the next rent period classify as a deposit that needs to be protected?
