A potential tenant is concerned to pay the full rent and deposit funds BEFORE we have signed the contract. She wants us to sign and provide the contract PRIOR to us receiveing funds (although keys would not be handed over until the contrcat start date).

I am quite concerned about this partly as it is the first such request in almost 20 years. Should I be concerned? In short is it always the case that full funds should be received PRIOR to the contract being signed by us.
