My tenant moved out, mid tenancy agreement and his mother moved in without telling me. I thought that it was probably best to get a signed tenacy agreemnt for 6 months, see how she goes and then if they mess about any more evict her.

Obviusly I'm not happy as I think that she is a squatter at the moment and they are ducking and diving! The rent is presently 3 weeks late. She's told me that she is just waiting for the housing benefit to be swapped over from Birmingham but how can that be when she hasn't got an agreement?

What do you think? I don't trust her but I don't know what else I can do? I have a long list of people wanting to rent this flat.
