This is very similar to my case, I too would like to follow up with a possible redress. My agent's vouched for the calibre of the tenant, as they had previously found her accommodation. I am still waiting for the promised checks, and the promised rent guarantee from them. It is only the beginning of the tenancy (week 5) and the tenant is already late with payment. Maybe there is an answer in The Suppy of Goods and services Act 1982?
