TENANTS HAVE MOVED OUT OF A PROPERTY OWING MONEY TO SCOTTISH POWER FOR BOTH GAS AND ELECTRIC. UNBEKNOWN TO ME THEY HAVE HAD PRE PAID METERS FITTED AT THE PROPERTY AND SCOTTISH POWER ARE REFUSING TO REPLACE THEM WITH NORMAL METERS WITHOUT THE NEW TENANTS BEING IN THE PROPERTY FOR 12 MONTHS AND THEN PAYING A LARGE AMOUNT ON DEPOSIT. ARE SCOTTISH POWER ALLOWED FIT THIS TYPE OF METERS WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION. AND ARE THEY ALLOWED TO REFUSE TO PUT THEM BACK TO NORMAL BILLED METERS. AFTER ALL IT IS THE PREVIOUS TENANTS THAT OWE THEM MONEY, NOT US OR THE NEW TENANTS. I HAVE INFORMED SCOTTISH POWER OF THE PREV TENANTS FORWARDING ADDRESS SO THEY HAVE SOMEWHERE TO CHASE THEM FOR THE DEBT.
