DPS Deposit

We have a deposit held with the DPS and the Landlord has now taken over the management of their property and has requested the the tenants deposit be transferred to her own DPS account.

The Tenants have got another month to run on the shorthold tenancy which they signed with us.

Can the deposit be transferred over and if so do we have to inform the tenants that this is going to be done.
