I have been contacted by a lady purporting to be the key worker from a social housing scheme allocated to an ex-tenant of mine. She is requesting the Deposit I.D for the tenants monies held with The Deposit Protection Scheme.Am I obliged to disclose this?
There have been complications at the end of a 3 1/2yr tenancy. We have successfully re-possessed property following A Section 21 order but the deposit will not cover rent overdue and damage caused following a major breach of tenancy agreement. I am nervous as the ex-tenant has huge debts and has turned rather nasty and intimidating.
