I currently have a house with 4 students one is moving out and a replacement moving in so they will have a new agreement. To date I have had problems collecting rent from one of them (because she has had problems with her funding but that has now been sorted out)otherwise they are good tenants.
Three of the students have asked if they could pay their rent for 6 months as a lump sum up front when they sign the new contract.
I dont know if the remaining tenant is willing to do the same yet.

I would be happy to have six months rent up front but are there any problems with this apart from the usual tax year problems.

What happens If only 3 of the tenants are willing to pay up front will it be a problem if I collect the other tenants rent in the usual way as they do not have individual agreements.

collect the remaining tenants money each month or would this cause complications
