I am considering buying a property with an existing tenant who wishes to remain. The vendor tells me (via the agent)that the tenant is a model tenant and has been with them for a year,they are in work and paying rent on time without issue. The vendor appears to have a genuine reason for sale.

Are there any pitfalls i should be aware of?
