My tenant was using the washing machine that I provided when it broke. I arranged for a repair through my appliance insurance scheme which took about a week.
The tenant is now asking for a reimburment of the cost of her clothes, around £230, as she says they were damaged due to sitting in water for a week. She does not have any receipts for the clothing.

Am I liable for reimbursing her?

many thanks
