Hi, I have not taken on Housing Benefit tenants before, but have recently had an inquiry from someone on Housing benefit into whether I would accept them

Would someone be able to run through the basics of Housing benefit with me.

Do i get paid direct by the council, are grants available (I heard somewhere that there are), what are the potential pitfalls with Housing Benefit tenants? I have seen lots of posts on here regarding problem Housing Benefit tenants.
