My property is let to a person who has half the rent paid by housing benefit,the tenant responsible for the other half, The tenant is continually behind with their payments by 3 months which equates to 6 weeks of the total rent, do I have to wait until the total rent arrears are a full 2 months in arrear before starting legal action to recover the rent.
