S 8 Notice was served in Nov 2006 on Ground 8, since when the arrears have ben paid (by mother) and only 2 weeks remain unpaid because the Benefits Office are paying most of the rent. The Tenant still does not pay his/her share. We have not applied for possession to date. We have had trouble with noise and (anonymous) letters and telephone calls from neighbours (which we had before the Notice To Quit was served but decided to rely on the arrears section).
Your S 8 notice states that the court may allow any other grounds to be added at a later date. Can you please tell me how should we deal with that to add ground 12 and possibly 14, or would it be better to serve a new S8 notice stating these new grounds and not pursue the arrears.
We have had enough trouble from this tenant and want possession as soon as possible.
