Hello

I have a 4 person student house each person having given me a guarantor. I have received an email from the parent of one of the tenants to say that as she is emigrating she is giving me notice that she no longer wants to be considered guarantor. She says she has taken legal advice. Surely this is not allowable. Should I ask the tenant to supply me with a new guarantor?

The contract runs til end June 2009 and they are jointly & severally liable.

Thanks
