I have tenants who moved into a property on the 1st of April 2009 and I have received from them today one months notice to end the tenancy. The AST from your web site was used as the contract. Can they do this or am I within my rights to ask them to pay the remaining rent until the end of the AST or until I find new tenants. I refer you to section 2 of the agreement and the wording ‘You must give one months notice to end it.’
