Hi,
I have a potntial tenant who has suffered flooding in his own property and is seeking a 6 month AST. The rent and deposit will be paid monthly by his insurance company.

You have offered the advice before that if you accept rent from a third party this would grant them a tenancy. How would this apply in the case of this insurance company. Also regarding the deposit would the insurance company simply be a the third party in the same way as any parent or guarantor may be?

Thanks,
