i originally gave a couple a tenancy for a property in joint names. they have now parted and the one that is left just wants the tenancy in her name. i would rather not give a fresh assured shorthold tenancy unless i have to because of the 6 month statutory period. can i just cross his name off mine and her tenancy agreement? i would rather only her on the tenancy!




can a tenant be evicted within the statutory 6 month period of an assured shorthold agreement if they owe 8 weeks rent?
