Hello,A tenancy agreement on one of my properties expired on the 29th January 2009 and I wish to renew the tenancy myself and not throught the agents.Do I have to produce a brand new tenancy agreement or can I just write to the tenants agreeing to renew their tenancy on the same terms for another year. Also what happens about their deposit which is lodged with the agencies deposti scheme. I assume I can ask for them to return it but does it have to go via the tenant or straight to me in order that I can put the deposit in the scheme I use.Regards.Teresa Cooper.
