Hi, I recently joined the RLA (already a member of the NLA) as I liked the fact that you provide a room only agreement (we have some student lets). I do have a few queries about the agreement - can you help please.

1)The statement above the date referring to dealing with a deposit seems to be worded incorrectly (the wording is correct on the Standard Deposit Guard AST.

2)In A8, paragraph 2 it says within 20 working days 'or' the end of the tenancy - I think it should say 'of' the end of the tenancy.

3) with reference to B9. Is it ok to delete this clause and add an addendum to say 'You cannot normally end this agreement before the end of the term. However, if you can find a suitable alternative tenant, and provided this alternative tenant is acceptable to us (our approval will not be unreasonably witheld)you may give notice to end the tenancy on a date that is at least one month from the date that approval is given. You must pay us any expenses reasonably incurred in granting the new tenancy. If all expenses are paid and a new tenancy is issued your tenancy will end at the expiry of the notice period.

Thanks
