Good Afternoon,

We have recently let our 2 bedroom property to a head teacher who feels that the mangement company has not been understanding of her requests. These requests have circulated over the use of the in house alarm, painting requests and hot water boiler issues.
Following repeated telephone calls to the agent and the promise that the respective respondent would get in touch with her nothing has been resolved.
In desperation the tenant made contact with us and refuses to have nay further contact with the agent.
As the tenant wishes to remain long term we do not wish to lose her but will do so if we insist that the agent remain as the contact.
As we have full management contract we are more than happy to pay the agent management fees for the first six months and then take over the active management ourselves.
Are we entitled to instruct the comopany that this is our intention and would we then have to pay a'finders' fee post the initial 6month contract?
