Good afternoon,

I have a property that I live in with my family that also has 10 bedsits that we rent out.

We have been using 6 month short hold tenancies with running 1 month tenancies when 6 months has completed but on looking through your website I have seen that perhaps we could use non assured tenencies as we live in the building.

The building is detached and we do not share any living areas with our tenants. All rooms are en-suite and the only shared facilities are kitchens where upto 4 rooms share a kitchen. We rent all the rooms inclusive of utilities, council tax etc.

Could you please advise the correct tenancy type we should be using and if we can choose, the benefits of the different types of each tenancy.

Many thanks

Daniel Aitken
