What steps must I take to protect myself from allowing a lodger to acquire rights of possession in my home?
I propose to provide a bedroom and a sitting room. There is also a separate bathroom to the main house bathroom which I propose to make available.
I do not intend to provide meals or cooking facilities but would permit the preparation of a light breakfast.
Access to the part of my home being made available will be via the main front door.

Any guidelines would be appreciated.

Thank you
